After a meal, wait 1 to 2 hours before going to bed.
Put an extra pillow (s) under your head and shoulders when you fold to raise your head. You can also raise the head of your bed by about 15 cm (6 inches) by sliding pillows under your mattress.
Choose loose clothing, especially at the waist.
Make some changes to your eating habits:
– choose smaller portions, but eat more frequently;
– make sure to eat slowly and chew food;
– drink between meals, rather than eating;
– do not overeat or drink before going to bed.

coffee and tea;

What to do if heartburn and reflux persist?
If the application of these measures does not relieve you, you can take antacids based on calcium carbonate (eg Tums®), aluminum, magnesium or alginic acid (eg Gaviscon®). If these products are not enough, ranitidine (eg Zantac®) is also safe.

If you must take an antacid, do it about 1 hour after the meal. Since the duration of action of antacids is about 2 hours, you can take one 2 e dose 3 hours after eating. However, avoid taking antacids with other medications. antacids only relieve you temporarily or you have to take it regularly for several days to feel better;
