You can :
Feel an urgent and frequent urge to urinate.
Have blood in your urine or scrambled urine.
Have a burning sensation when you urinate.
Have pain in your lower back or stomach.
Notice a strange smell coming from your urine.
Have a fever or stomach upside down.
Why is it dangerous?
The infection can reach your kidneys and make sure your baby is born too early.
What can I do to protect myself and my baby?
Drink lots of fluids (at least 8 glasses a day).
Wipe from front to back after being in the toilet.
Go to the bathroom as soon as you feel the urge to urinate, before and after having sex.
Go see your health care professional immediately if you think you have a bladder infection.
